Tonya Moreau-Betsaka
I, identify as a Dene indigenous woman, our culture and heritage is based within the Dehcho Region, the subarctic of Canada.
Tonya has her Business Administration Diploma and majored in Management and has worked in multiple Hospitality and Tourism related jobs in the Northwest Territories.
Tonya specializes in beadwork and she was taught from her grandmother Lousia Moreau since she was a young girl. In recent years, while living in Fort Simpson, NT, Tonya has provided workshops, DIY beading kits, sold hundreds of beaded earrings, key chains and more. Majority of the jobs Tonya has worked in, was the Hospitality and Tourism industry.
Hi I'm Becky
I, identify as a Metis Indigenous woman, and our culture and heritage is based within the Dehcho Region, the subarctic of Canada.
Becky specializes in braided beaded bracelets and has been self-taught. Now Becky has a social group of friends in her community to share their tips and tricks with each other. Becky has also learned traditional arts from her mother, Lousia Moreau.
